TEV Highway Conversion

A dramatic animation to demonstrate how the TEV can be applied to standard roads.

The TEV, or ‘Tracked Electrical Vehicle’ system, is the brain child of inventor and successful businessman, Will Jones. The idea behind the world revolutionary transport system is to take a standard car, and with very little modification, convert them for transport on the completely automated, emission free, electric TEV track.

The concept here was to convey the TEV as an incredibly simple system to implement, even on existing highways. I felt the juxtaposition here from busy, clogged highway to an open road, even now with the addition of a TEV system was very important to get across to the audience.

This project included an AI traffic system comprising of over 3000 cars to effectively create a traffic jam of annoyed and frustrated drivers in the opening shots of the movie.
