I really wasn’t expecting this to go so far….but I’m glad it did. This short animation in the style of the original Super Mario Bros captures the era, and then proceeds to totally destroy its charm. It seems Mario wasn’t too happy that the princess was predictably in ‘another castle’ and then goes full rampage to the point where you feel a bit sorry for the age old baddies you may or may not have spent many hours usually trying to defeat.
